Schutzwirkung von Sulfhydrilkörpern auf den strahlengeschädigten Dünndarm

Zusammenfassung

Die Veränderung der Resorption von Ca-Ionen nach Bestrahlung mit 500 r wird im Duodenum und Jejunum junger Ratten untersucht und die Beeinflussung dieser Vorgänge durch Strahlenschutzstoffe der SH-Reihe festgestellt. Als Indikator wird ⁴⁵Ca verwendet. Zwischen den oxydativen Vorgängen in der Mukosa und der Ca-Resorption besteht ein enger Zusammenhang. Schutzwirksame SH-Substanzen verringern den Primärschaden, haben aber keinen direkten Einfluß auf die Erholungsvorgänge.

Summary

The changes in the resorption of calcium ions in the duodenum and jejunum in young rats have been investigated following irradiation with 500 r. The influence of radiation protection substances of the SH-series on these effects has been observed. Calcium-45 has been used as a tracer. There is a close relation between the oxidative processes in the mucosa and the calcium resorption. SH-substances with protective action reduce the primary damage but do not exert a direct influence on the recovery processes.

Résumé

Le changement de la résorption des ions de calcium après une irradiation de 500 r par le duodénum et le jéjunum de jeunes rats a été examiné et l’influence des substances protégeantes S-H sur ces procédés a été étudiée. Le ⁴⁵Ca a été employé comme indicateur. On a trouvé une relation étroite entre les réactions d’oxydation de la muqueuse et la résorption du calcium. Des substances S-H protégeantes efficaces diminuent les dégâts primaires, sans influence directe sur le procédé de rétablissement.
